Improvers Sailing
Beginners, Novices and Experienced Sailors all welcome!
Whether you’re brand new to sailing or have some experience and want to hone your skills in a relaxed environment, this session is for you. Come along for informal practice with friendly advice and support readily available. Its a fantastic opportunity to build your sailing hours and progress, with guidance to help you reach RYA Level 2 or 3 skills. Open to members and non-members.
Approximate Duration: 2 – 3 hours (half day)
Course Content: We help you to develop skills at RYA Level 2 or 3 so you will be able to sail confidently in all directions, use the tide to your advantage, be able to rig and de-rig and take part in racing if you want to.
Under 16’s (min age 8): Under 16’s will need a parent or responsible adult standing by during the session– even better to take part! It is aimed at candidates who have RYA Level 1 or 2 but wish to gain experience and improve their skills
